01Who we are

This website, velqonix.in (the “Website”), is operated by VELQONIX AI LABS LLP, a limited liability partnership registered in Bengaluru, India (“VELQONIX”, “we”, “us”, “our”). This policy explains what personal information we collect through the Website, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

Our own products, such as BrainUp (brainup.in), have their own privacy policies, which apply when you use those products.

02Information we collect

We collect only what we need to run the Website and respond to you:

  • Information you give us: when you use the contact form or email us, your name, email address, company name (optional), the type of work you are interested in, and the contents of your message.
  • Technical information: like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical data such as IP address, browser type, device information, pages requested and the date and time of each request. This is used to keep the Website secure and working.
  • Usage information: we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the Website, such as which pages are visited, how long visits last, the approximate location (city or country), the referring website and device and browser type. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to collect this information. It does not give us your name or email address.
  • Preferences stored on your device: the Website remembers your light or dark theme choice in your browser’s local storage. This stays on your device and is not sent to us.

We do not ask for, and ask you not to send us, sensitive personal data such as financial details, government identification numbers or health information through the Website.

03How we use your information

  • To reply to your enquiry and discuss a possible project, product or partnership.
  • To send you information you have asked for, such as product launch updates.
  • To measure and understand how the Website is used, so we can improve its content and design.
  • To operate, secure, maintain and improve the Website.
  • To meet our legal obligations and to protect our rights.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

We process your personal data with your consent, which you give by submitting the contact form or writing to us, and for legitimate uses permitted under applicable law, including India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. You can withdraw your consent at any time by emailing us; this does not affect processing that happened before you withdrew it.

05Sharing your information

We share personal information only with service providers who help us run the Website and our business, such as hosting, email and infrastructure providers, and only for the purposes described in this policy. We may also disclose information if required by law, court order or a government authority, or to protect our rights, users or the public.

Usage information collected through Google Analytics is processed by Google LLC on our behalf and may be stored on servers outside India. You can read how Google uses this data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

06How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details for as long as needed to respond and to manage any resulting relationship, and then for a reasonable period for our records or as required by law. Technical logs are kept for a limited period for security and troubleshooting.

07Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS). No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

08Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you can ask us to:

  • tell you what personal information we hold about you and how we use it;
  • correct, complete or update it;
  • erase it, where we are not required to keep it;
  • withdraw your consent;
  • nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of death or incapacity.

To make a request or raise a grievance, email contact@velqonix.in. We will respond within a reasonable time and in any case within the period required by law.

09Cookies

The Website uses a small number of cookies and similar technologies:

  • Analytics cookies set by Google Analytics (for example, cookies beginning with _ga), which help us count visits and see how the Website is used. We do not use advertising cookies.
  • Browser storage that remembers your light or dark theme choice. This stays on your device.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics across websites with Google’s opt-out browser add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout). The Website works without analytics cookies.

10Children

The Website is intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

The Website may link to other websites, including our own products. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of websites we do not operate. Please read their policies.

12Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed. Significant changes will be highlighted on the Website.
